Do you offer a seniors discount?

Yes. We offer a 5% discount to our senior customers. Please ask our staff for information when booking your job.

Can I see a sample of the shingle color?

Yes. If you are unsure of how the shingle color you have chosen will look on a roof, call the office. We can provide you with an address of a house that we have recently installed that color on.

Once I receive my quotation, should I let you know right away or wait until I am ready?

You should call the office right away to start the work order and have your name put on the list. Shingles may have to be ordered depending on your colour selection and often times due to weather and work load we may be a few weeks before we can get to you. If you require special scheduling, please mention it to us at this time and we will do our best to convene.

Do I need to give a deposit?

No. Once the work is complete, we will send your invoice in the mail. Payment is due upon receipt of the invoice.

Do I need to remove my satellite dish?

Our crew will carefully remove and re-install your satellite dish as close to its original position as possible. However, repositioning for reception is the responsibility of the homeowner.

How long will it take to complete the work and do I need to be home?

Most residential re-roofing projects will take one day to complete. Jobs where we are removing or installing cedar shakes could take 2 or 3 days for larger houses. Unless you prefer to be, there is no need for you to be home during the work.

What can I expect the day of the job?

Our crew will arrive and begin to set up the work area. Sometimes one crew will complete more than one job in a day so If we are not there first thing in the morning, no need to worry. We use a 3-ton truck with a hoist to lift the shingles up to the roof and haul away debris. We ask that your driveway (or front curb if no driveway) be clear of vehicles to allow for access. Our crew will then proceed with the scope of work outlined in our proposal. Once complete, all nails and debris will be cleaned up and hauled away. When we leave, it is our top priority to ensure your yard is as close as possible to the condition it was in when we arrived.

Will my roof deck be inspected for rotten wood prior to the installation of the new shingles?

Yes, upon removing the existing shingles, we will inspect your roof deck to make sure that it is in good condition. Any rotten wood will be replaced, and your quoted price will not change.

Why don’t my new shingles lay flat, should I be concerned?

Architectural shingles require heat before they will all lay flat. Some times this could take up to a couple of weeks depending on the time of year they were installed. However, there is no reason to be concerned as this will not affect the integrity of your roof system.
